B. Alekzander Sellers

B. Alekzander Sellers is the Chief Operating Officer for Cassidy Levy Kent’s Washington office, where he coordinates all aspects of the firm’s management.

Prior to his work as COO, Mr. Sellers had over a decade of experience assisting clients appearing before the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. He participated in dozens of antidumping, countervailing duty, and safeguards proceedings on behalf of clients in the United States, Korea, Mexico, France, Germany, Japan, and elsewhere around the world. His specialty was market and financial analysis for import injury investigations and sunset reviews before the U.S. International Trade Commission, and in collection and analysis of sales and cost data for proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Mr. Sellers also assisted private clients participating in and contemplating appeals before the U.S. Court of International Trade and binational panels organized under the North American Free Trade Agreement. He also worked on behalf of U.S. companies involved in trade disputes before foreign regulatory agencies, and has assisted numerous companies seeking to avoid trade disputes altogether.

Mr. Sellers also aided foreign government agencies involved in antidumping, subsidies, and SPS disputes before WTO dispute settlement panels.

Prior to joining Cassidy Levy Kent (USA) LLP, Mr. Sellers had worked in the international trade law practices for several large U.S. law firms. He previously did work in the areas of reinsurance litigation and renewable energy project development.
