Nina Tandon is an associate in Cassidy Levy Kent’s Washington DC office. Ms. Tandon assists clients on a range of issues including trade remedy actions before the U.S. International Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Commerce, as well compliance matters before U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Prior to joining Cassidy Levy Kent, Ms. Tandon practiced commercial litigation and arbitration with a focus on cross-border matters at a large international law firm. She has extensive experience representing private and state-owned multi-national corporations in cross-border complex commercial litigation and arbitration. Her experience also includes compliance work pertaining to both domestic and foreign regulations. Ms. Tandon also served as a Law Clerk for the Hon. Edmund A. Sargus, Jr., and the Hon. Elizabeth P. Deavers, of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Ms. Tandon attended Boston University School of Law, where she graduated with honors in the concentration of International Law. She also attended The Fletcher School, Tufts University’s graduate school of International Affairs, where she wrote a Master’s thesis on the governance of sovereign wealth funds under international law. During her schooling, Ms. Tandon completed internships with the U.S. Department of Justice, as well as multiple multi-national NGOs where her work focused on litigation in U.S. federal courts and compliance with United States Agency for International Development and United States Department of Agriculture regulations.

Ms. Tandon maintains an active pro bono practice, with experience representing petitioners for asylum, indigent criminal defendants, and other minority populations in matters pertaining to civil rights. She has held regional and national board positions in the South Asian Bar Association since 2013.
