Savannah Barnwell is an International Trade Specialist in Cassidy Levy Kent’s Washington office. Ms. Barnwell assists attorneys and economists involved in trade remedy proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. International Trade Commission, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Court of International Trade, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She also has extensive experience with Section 232 exclusion proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security.
Ms. Barnwell is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she double-majored in Global Studies and Geography and minored in Medical Anthropology. Her courses focused primarily on international politics, African studies, and international migration patterns. She also spent a semester at the University of Cape Town, where she studied modern South African history and interned at a local organization. Prior to Cassidy Levy Kent, Ms. Barnwell worked at a professional services firm specializing in social sector and nonprofit consulting.
