Ian Richardson is an International Trade Counsel in Cassidy Levy Kent’s Ottawa office. Mr. Richardson holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa. Ian completed a Bachelor of Arts at Mount Allison University in International Relations, where he also worked as a research and teaching assistant. At Mount Allison, Ian was awarded an independent student research grant to study the implementation of international arms trade agreements.
As part of his studies at the University of Ottawa law school, Ian joined the school’s ELSA WTO Moot Team, which went on to win the all-American regional round. In the summer of 2024, Ian represented the school’s ELSA WTO Moot Team at the final round of competition in Geneva.
