Shanni Alon

Associate / Washington

Shanni Alon is an Associate in Cassidy Levy Kent’s Washington, D.C. office. She advises on a range of issues including trade remedy actions before the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission, as well as appellate proceedings to the federal courts and binational panels organized under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (“USMCA”).

Prior to joining Cassidy Levy Kent, Ms. Alon served as an Attorney for the Office of Chief Counsel for Trade Enforcement & Compliance at the U.S. Department of Commerce. In this role, Ms. Alon advised on laws, regulations, and judicial precedent relating to anti-dumping and countervailing duty proceedings. Ms. Alon has briefed and argued international trade cases before the U.S. Court of International Trade, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and USMCA binational panels.

Ms. Alon attended The George Washington University Law School where she was a Notes Editor for the Federal Circuit Bar Journal.
