Davina Friedmann is a Senior International Trade Advisor in Cassidy Levy Kent’s Washington D.C. office. Ms. Friedmann applies vast experience in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings to assist the firm’s attorneys and clients in trade remedy actions before the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Ms. Friedmann’s primary focus is on the complex analysis of economic data in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings. She leverages her experience in a wide variety of trade proceedings, including agency investigations, administrative reviews, changed circumstances reviews, scope proceedings, appeals to and remand proceedings from the U.S. Court of International Trade. Over the course of her career, Ms. Friedmann has participated in cases spanning industries including aluminum, steel, drill pipe, casing and tubing, agriculture, aquaculture, powered industrial vehicles, chemicals, and renewable energy equipment.

Government Service

Before joining Cassidy Levy Kent, Ms. Friedmann served more than 25 years as a senior international trade compliance analyst in the Enforcement and Compliance (E&C) unit of the U.S. Department of Commerce, leading high-profile cases and supporting organizational development. She spent over a decade focusing on Customs-related matters, specializing in the implementation of antidumping and countervailing duty cases and ensuring the accurate collection of duties by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Ms. Friedmann received numerous honors from the Commerce and CBP, including the Bronze Medal Award, the International Trade Administration’s Professional Customer Service Award, and CBP’s Best Practices and Innovation Award in recognition of her outstanding support for government initiatives.
