Ian Richardson is a summer student with Cassidy Levy Kent in the Ottawa office. He is a third-year law student at the University of Ottawa and will return after his studies are completed to become an articling student in the Ottawa office. Ian completed a Bachelor of Arts at Mount Allison University in International Relations, where he also worked as a research and teaching assistant. At Mount Allison, Ian was awarded an independent student research grant to study the implementation of international arms trade agreements.
As part of his studies at the University of Ottawa law school, Ian joined the school’s ELSA WTO Moot Team, which went on to win the all-American regional round. In the summer of 2024, Ian is representing the school’s ELSA WTO Moot Team at the final round of competition in Geneva.
