Laura Delgado is a Senior International Trade Advisor in Cassidy Levy Kent’s Washington, D.C., office. Between her government and private sector work, she has a decade of experience in international trade, including antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) proceedings, injury proceedings before the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC), Section 337 intellectual property rights cases, and appeals to and remand proceedings before the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT).
Ms. Delgado has worked on matters involving chemicals, steel, aerospace, wood products, agriculture, and aquaculture across both market and non-market economy contexts. Her experience includes AD/CVD verifications of foreign companies and governments, customs instructions, pre-petition analyses, subsidy valuation, and quantitative analysis using SAS. She also has supported free-trade feasibility studies, economic witness and litigation support, disputes under the North American Free Trade Agreement framework, and European Union anti-subsidy valuations.
Prior to joining Cassidy Levy Kent, Ms. Delgado served as an International Trade Compliance Analyst at the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce). There, she worked on AD/CVD investigations and administrative reviews, and participated in verifications of foreign companies and government entities in South Korea, China, Australia, and India. Earlier in her career, she worked as a research analyst at an economic consulting firm in Washington, D.C., supporting expert witnesses and legal teams in matters before the USITC, Commerce, and the CIT.
