Mercedes Labelle

Articling Student / Ottawa

Mercedes Labelle is an articling student with Cassidy Levy Kent in the Ottawa office. Ms. Labelle holds a Juris Doctor (English Common Law) from the University of Ottawa, having completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Urban Systems at McGill University.

During law school, Ms. Labelle worked as a research assistant and, on behalf of the University of Ottawa, contributed to the internationally recognized TradeLab program by co-authoring a report on safeguards investigations.

Prior to her legal studies, Ms. Labelle worked as a Senior Policy Analyst for a regional think tank in Northern Ontario, working with multiple levels of government and local industry partners on economic development and population growth initiatives.
