Michael Peel is an International Trade Specialist in Cassidy Levy Kent’s Washington office. Ms. Peel assists attorneys and economists involved in trade remedy proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission, as well as customs compliance matters before U.S. Customs and Border Protection. He also supports appellate litigation before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Mr. Peel earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Seton Hall University’s School of Diplomacy and International Relations, concentrating in foreign policy analysis and international economics. Before joining the firm, he interned at the United Nations, in the President of the General Assembly’s office and the Department of Commerce, supporting trade initiatives, and worked as a government affairs intern at the MFA. There, he monitored legislative and policy developments affecting the financial services industry.
