Sophia Unger

Senior International Trade Specialist / Washington

Sophia Unger is a Senior International Trade Specialist in Cassidy Levy Kent’s Washington office. Ms. Unger assists attorneys and economists involved in trade remedy proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. International Trade Commission, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Court of International Trade, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She also has experience with Section 232 exclusion proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security.

Ms. Unger is a graduate of George Washington University, where she earned a B.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in Security Policy and a minor in Criminal Justice. Ms. Unger earned her Paralegal Certificate from Boston University. Before working at CLK, she was an intern with The Peace Project, a non-profit organization advocating for the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act.
